I’ve built a lot of small tools over the last two years, most of them with Irish names, nearly all of them answering a question I couldn’t get answered any other way. The tools live on their own sites. This section is where I explain them before you open them, because a tool with no story is just a screen.
The rule for every piece here: it’s written for someone who hasn’t opened the tool yet. It says why the thing exists, what to look for, what it isn’t, and then it gets out of the way. If the same paragraph appears on both this site and the tool’s own site, one of them is in the wrong place.
Where the things are. aihi.win holds the status cards: one card per project, what state it’s in, what it’s for. glassformer.com is GlassBox, a transformer you can watch work. sionnach.ie is the showcase, the front door to the ones that are ready to be shown. foxxelabs.ie is the lab’s own site, with the articles and the news feed.
The first three explainers are below. More follow as the tools earn them.
